In the morning the lake sits under a sea of fog and only the castle towers come through. By noon you can see all the way to Lecco. In the evening the Resegone goes pink, then the village lights come on across the water.
It is why guests end up having breakfast on the terrace even when they had planned an early start. You do not need to go anywhere: the best seat in the area is the chair by the window.

Both have a private bathroom, air conditioning and a corner with kettle, coffee machine, microwave and fridge. The entrance is independent, straight from outside: come and go as you please.

Lecco in a quarter of an hour. From there, the ferry to Bellagio, Varenna and Menaggio, with no parking to find.

We are in Rossino, a hamlet of Calolziocorte (Lecco). Parking inside the property. Calolziocorte-Olginate station is a few minutes away, on the Lecco-Bergamo line. Milan is about an hour by car or train.
